Start by RTFM. Specifically if you're having trouble with speed read the part about how you hit Ctrl+F12 and Ctrl+F11 to speed up and slow down, respectively.

OK I gave up on trying to make SF2 work on my new PC. I am running it now on my Old original Pentium machine running Windows 95...the ONLY bug I have is that I get NO sound. VDMSound doesn't work because it was never made for win95.....anyone got any suggestions? Thanks

Tom

Starflight 2 didn't have much sound to speak of, it used the internal speaker for a few various sound effects (a weird pulsing thing at the title screen). You shouldn't have to use VDMSound or any other program to get the beeper sounds working. Maybe make sure the internal speaker is connected on your motherboard?

Of course, DOSBox has excellent internal speaker emulation...

You know, I just finally had to give up on DOSBOX. too many errors running on XP, so I just whipped out the old Pentuim and went to town. like I said, without the sound but oh well....

Thanks guys!
