It comes with DOSBox!! Look in your DOSBox directory!! Here let me give you another hint, it's called README, because you are supposed to READ IT.
Yes, it’s my fault.

OK I gave up on trying to make SF2 work on my new PC. I am running it now on my Old original Pentium machine running Windows 95...the ONLY bug I have is that I get NO sound. VDMSound doesn't work because it was never made for win95.....anyone got any suggestions? Thanks
Tom

Starflight 2 didn't have much sound to speak of, it used the internal speaker for a few various sound effects (a weird pulsing thing at the title screen). You shouldn't have to use VDMSound or any other program to get the beeper sounds working. Maybe make sure the internal speaker is connected on your motherboard?
Of course, DOSBox has excellent internal speaker emulation...

You know, I just finally had to give up on DOSBOX. too many errors running on XP, so I just whipped out the old Pentuim and went to town. like I said, without the sound but oh well....
Thanks guys!
Off to blow up some Spemin..🤣..

I remember playing Starflight on my old Sega 16bit...
Didn't even know it was a sequel. Gotta play it right away!
