I guess someone with a verite board may check that.

In -vga mode it looks like it is changing resolution.

There's also some corruption at the bottom of the screen. I sometimes get missing texture and audio file errors not sure if it's wrapper related. Also can't seem to get the cgl version to run with the Verité binary. Missing texture error.

CGL is other API maybe high level on top of verite/glint or maybe its own low level. There is possibility to force rebel moon to load only in verite mode on Creative 3D Blaster PCI, by removing verit*.cgl files inside of game directory. the CGL API is not so well documented, and vogons community collected everything so far to assemble API SDK from pieces .

I hope its have possibilities to trick CGL to run on non creative cards.

Sounds like fun, once I get Speedy3d in shape. I'll take a stab at it as a side project maybe concurrently with speedy3d. That's how rready was built and I might learn more about speedy3d by doing that.

Speedy needs a lot more work.

Nice to see you back on this forum again.

Also is anyone interested in a store release with alpha speedy3d support? At some point I'll have to test the RRedline apps to make sure nothing's broken. I'm in fact curious to see if everything still works. It's going to take me a long time to test everything because the app/demo list is growing.

Speedy3D dma problem's still there it can be fixed for icr2 with either threadsafe=true or cacheddma=true. This only works for icr2 though. Nascars(sic) and eurofighter are out of luck.

I found a bug with dobox's dma register implementation and fixed it. But the instability is still there.

Word of warning, the latest live build of dosbox is being detected as malware.

[EDIT] If the next live release gets flagged, I'll report it as a false positive to microsoft.

Hi

I'm working on adding vQuake support to RReady and have both overcome one obstacle and hit another .

Could someone with a Verité board run this and post the resulting FIFO.txt file. It may take a while (copy all 3 files and run run.bat).

The problem I resolved was an INT1A call which needed a 32-bit protected mode dispatch routine and the one I hit was vQuake querying a ridiculous number of probably non-existent modes.

This build *should* (fingers crossed) return the BIOS strings correctly as well as well as the BIOS responses to the strange mode queries.

The modes it's querying could be z-buffered versions of vesa modes

The crash doesn't occur if you start a new game and then load level 6 switch, but yes it does if you load it right after startup. With Dosbox-Rendition the floor is a tiled texture, unless it doesn't crash.

I've had some other stability issues with RB. Starting a new game and playing randomly crashes the game within dosbox. I don't remember it doing this with older builds, but the again I've not played through the first level every single time I've done a build.

The game crashes within DOSbox with a dos4gw error.

[EDIT] It's the same with '+' and '-' (divide by 0).
