So higher prices isn’t all bad - it gets hardware back out into circulation that would otherwise just sit in storage or go into ewaste.
that's a good point, there is a level below the 'worth selling' point where things just go into trash and out of circulation, so higher prices keep things in circulation to some extent
i cant get angry at others for buying a thing i wanted at a price higher than i was prepared for it - even though they may not use it or 'appreciate' it as much as i would - how would i know that anyway!
but mainly i avoid the woes of the high prices because i tend to buy stuff that's cheap and will be patient and happy to wait for mid range stuff, forgetting high end stuff completely
