This time I am looking for help to find the latest Bios available and possibly the manual of the Soltek SL-85DRV4 motherboard (not of the DRV4-C version).
Thanks everyone for the help 😉

The latest BIOS I found is C3.5 dated 2002/07/25 -> https://web.archive.org/web/20031022144248/ht … oad/S85DRV4.htm.

Here's the spec page -> http://web.archive.org/web/20020820232134fw_/ … duct/85drv4.htm.

kind regards

No problem, you‘re welcome!

The English .tw.com page didn‘t have the board, but the German did. Maybe it only has been sold in Europe!?

Honestly I can't say if this card was common in Europe .. certainly Soltek was not very well known here in Italy. 😅
I bought this card more out of curiosity (it has a lot of little "uncommon features" for being an atx socket 478 card). 😜
Actually, if I don't want the headache to assemble a build, I use Abit cards (especially if done the recap), which until now have always given me only satisfaction 😁😁😁

I remember that Soltek maybe wasn't the super-seller, but well known to PC enthusiasts as Soyo, Tekram, QDI, Albatron and other smaller manufacturers of retail boards also were, not to compare with big players like MSI, ASUS or Gigabyte. ABIT was indeed well known, especially for OC and stuff, but also was no big player (i.e. nearly no OEM products).
