Hi guys
I found this strange AGP card with a Cyrix Cx486 DX2-66 on it. It has me really puzzled. I tried googling for 'Cyrix Cx486 AGP card' and similar but I just can't find anything like it

I don't have any pics at the moment (it's at the workshop) but you can see it close up in this youtube video at 43:49 when I first dicover it.

What is it and is it unusual/rare?

Thanks
Rich

you know you can timestamp a video or just take a screenshot right? :p

anyways, someone just stuck that cyrix heatsink on a regular GPU that was apparently missing it's original heatsink, no 486 there.

The Cyrix logo is also oriented sideways, probably a good clue that it is not original.

Looks like a too big heatsink taken from an old Cyrix CPU, not the CPU itself which was PGA.
That heatsink even covers or hides some SMD components but does not touch them.

Haha so it is a 'marriage' then. It certainly had me and some others wondering what it was
