I have this old Satellite 325CDT, which was working perfectly, but it was a little dirty, and I decided to disassemble it to clean it, when I opened it I saw that its cmos battery had leaked, but it didn't affect the motherboard much (the connector popped out ) A little green moisture was seen on the broken connector, but this is completely normal and didn't stop the notebook from working (as well as other toshibas I have that also leaked and worked anyway).
So I decided to change the thermal compound of the processor, when I reassembled the machine, it was no longer working, it turns on the "outlet" led and when I press the on button, it turns on another "power" led but the capslock does not flash as you would before starting the post, and it doesn't even show any images.
Has anyone here ever been through this? I took it apart again, checked all cables, tested it on an external monitor, to no avail. I removed the CPU cooler, and turned on the machine, and noticed that it is heating up. I also experimented with other memories, and without success.
I noticed that it doesn't rotate the HD.
