Windows XP for sure, but maybe Win98 could somehow work as well I wonder.

Sweet, I’m looking for an Asus Rampage II Extreme (X48) to pair with two of my 5970s, as far as I know it’s one of the few boards that can fit two Accelero 5970s in Crossfire…

Went to the usual old tech/scrap place this weekend and the guy had something for me - AT case, bottom so rusted I could poke a finger through it and reeking of a sewer for a nice 10 Euros (not pictured as I took all I needed out of it ASAP and got it to the recyclers). Sometimes I wonder if the health risks are worth it. This time It was! Insides contained:

Zida 5SVA socket 7 motherboard with a Cyrix 6x86L 133MHz CPU.
Expertcolor T2000 PCI graphics card. After a bit of googling, this appears to be a "InteGraphics Systems CyberPro2000 PCI". Never heard of this before.
Opti chipset ISA sound card. Pretty bland and basic stuff, but the red PCB looks nice.

PCIE gpu would be difficult for win98se but perhaps with a generic reference driver.
deftineately possible to run 98se but with unofficial patches and even so theres no official drivers.
I own one and I just run 98se through a hypervisor. you gots oracle and vmware there 😀

I bought a 1MB Mapper/MegaRAM SD cartridge for my MSX 1, to expand the RAM & run games from SD Card. I was aware that the particular MSX model I own has compatibility issues with some mapper cartridges (a Sanyo MPC-100) and indeed the cartridge doesn't function - "Disk driver not found. System halted." error.

So I bought another MSX 1: (Stock web image, as it hasn't arrived yet.)

The more common (here in the UK at least) Toshiba HX-10, should work nicely with the cartridge.

I like the look of the Sanyo MPC-100, so I'll not sell it on. It can keep on happily running Cassette-based games & .CAS images from a CASDuino device.

Was so tempted to get an MSX 2, maybe in the next couple of years. 🤣

I bought a 1MB Mapper/MegaRAM SD cartridge for my MSX 1, to expand the RAM & run games from SD Card. Why the MSX1 initially instead of a 2? Im not very familiar with the platform other then the Konami games on it. Isn't 2 /2+/Turbo R a straight upgrade or are there some particular compatibility issues?

They are upgrades yes, 2 is better than 1, 2+ can be better than 2 and Turbo R (some compatibility issues aside) is better than the lot.

Would love to get some UK Stuff. Planning to get some old computers like spectrum, cpc, msx, Atari st. I hope I can find all of them here in Germany for a decent price,when I have the money.

Today I managed to find an ISA Ethernet card and an ISA SCSI card. I’m not too sure about what all the SCSI card can do, but I do at least know the FCC ID leads to it being related to an internal CD drive.

Wow, all 74 series logic on that SCSI card, driver/host CPU must have to work it's ass off.

This is probably the most mysterious computer I've ever gotten my hands on...a massive 386 "laptop" made by some Taiwanese company I've never heard of, but very clearly intended to be a clone of the Toshiba T5200. I'm glad it works because I don't even know how to take this thing apart, let alone fix it.

Mine is an AGP card. I had to buy a 4-pin to 6-pin adapter since the PSU in that system doesn't have a 6-pin connector.

Yes.
Even earlier controllers were more integrated and usually had custom chip able to do DMA transfers.

Interesting find I wonder how horribly slow it is 😀
