Hi guys,

I recently bought two beautiful and rare Freeway Design motherboards. One is the Freeway FW-6400GY/150 motherboard with Slot 1 and Slot A2 combo support. The other one is a Freeway FWD-P3C4XD with dual Socket 370 support.

However, I do neither have the manuals nor the driver cds of these beautiful red motherboards. Does anyone have by any chance the manuals as PDFs and the driver cds for these motherboards?

Thx!

Driver CDs? Anything on a CD was outdated by the time it left the factory.

The FW-6400GX/150 (that Y must be a typo) has nothing other than motherboard chipset on it, no drivers needed on any modern OS.
The FWD-P3C4XD is a pretty standard Via 694D design, so you need Via 4-in-1 / Hyperion drivers. Apart from that there's just the SigmaTel AC'97 codec. Can't make out exactly which version from pictures of the board on the web, but just look it up on your board and get appropriate drivers for your chosen OS.

I just bought a socket 7 via mvp3 freeway motherboard and am wondering what if any resources are left for these? Bios updates?

The latest beta BIOS Freeway list is ti5vgfh7 - https://web.archive.org/web/20021107154024/ht … w/fw_ti5vgf.htm - though the link is dead. Seems to be available on Jan's site except it's listed as for a TMC board of the same name!

Sweet! Thanks!

Are we going to get ultimate retro listings for these boards? I didn’t see them when I looked.

Yeah it seems that freeway was based on other boards but re designed them to be awesome.

I’d kinda be surprised if freeway didn’t do their own tricks inside the bios after seeing what they did to their boards.

But I will save the one it comes with and try the one on jan’s and compare features

Did you notice the manual for your board layout is listed here - https://www.elhvb.com/mobokive/Archive/Tmc%20 … al/ti5vgf10.pdf
