Does an AWE CT4390 make DIAGNOSE.EXE halt at this screen? The sound card seems to be working otherwise as it should (with some games that support AWE). But this behavior with DIAGNOSE is repetitive despite I tried on two different motherboards (486 and Socket 370) and with DIAGNOSE V4.05 too. Thus there is no way to produce any sound with the DIAGNOSE utility. If I plug a value CT4520 card in the same system(s) the DIAGNOSE works. Why is that problem?

No, the RAM test passes fine. This is right before the sound tests/menu. Very strange. The computer can be restarted at this point with CTRL-ALT-DEL.
