I purchased this from eBay and it looks as though it's been drop kicked a couple of times. There are several components missing both large and small, one of the heatsink spokes is bent over, and one of the corners of the PCB has been clearly flattened as a result of an impact.

Why is it that I can't ever have nice things?

See here where three of the large capacitors have been completely torn off.

Lots of missing parts on the back.

I don't know why this peg on the back is bent over but it's slightly flattened. Another impact? Maybe after it hit the ground on the corner and fell onto its back?

Here is the corner. It's difficult to convey as a photograph how flattened this really is on the corner.

Why is it so hard to get a working 5900? This is the third one I've bought that's broken. The last one I got looked like someone had polished it on a belt sander and now this? Whyyyy???

Would someone be kind enough to confirm the values on these capacitors on the right side of the board? Thank you.

That dropped corner in the last picture doesnt look great, I would be curious if its split the PCB further back internally where the traces are.

Would they really put traces between the hole and the corner?

Its possible the PCB has cracked internally from being dropped on that corner, you can see the split in the PCB. Did the hole stop it splitting further .. no idea but its worth investigating before trying to repair the area. If the PCB has split further back from that area then it could have damaged any traces. I also dont know if the FX5900 has multiple layers in the PCB which would complicate any repair attempts.

its more of an investigation thing before dumping effort into repairs when you dont know the full extent of the damage.

Its even more imperative to find out since that area is the power delivery and any damage to traces in that area could damage the GPU further if not fixed before powering the GPU.
