"Hello. Now Compaq insists that I tell you about their new 386 computer which they say is the most advanced computer ever made. But they're still sticking to this cock-an-bull story about it being made out of three-hundred and eighty six chips and thirty two bits of a bus! Well frankly I this is not credible, it's an insult to your intelligence, if I were you I would not watch this commercial! (sniff)...in fact I'll switch over for you (moves to strange Oktoberfest dancing).......(pans to Compaq logo & Phone#) The new Compaq 3-8-6, chips busses, and compatibility!".

Apple Macintosh - “The Power to be your best”.
This slogan is so true.
There is something about using an Apple product that gives you confidence that you have chosen the best tool for the job.
Its like a Mechanic or Construction worker or doctor choosing there tools for their occupation..You just know you have chosen a good reliable tool when you chose an Apple.
Its like having a BIG tools box with a bunch of tiny computers in it.
And you go for the Apple. Its like using a Snap-on tool.
They are expensive but you know you have a very good tool and it gives you confidence.
Aaaah NO.

The Apple II and the Apple Lisa were quality computers with good build quality.
So was the cut-version, the Macintosh.
When it was new, it allowed many things not possible with other personal computers at the time.
It introduced the mouse, 3.5" floppies, easy to use networking etc when other users still used datasettes, 5,25" or 8" floppies or had to type down listings from magazines.
🙄
But yeah, frim 2010 onwards, after the transition to intel platform things went down hill. The earlier PowerMacs were easy to maintenance, though. Opening a G3 Blue/White, a G4 or a G5 tower was very easy and user-friendly. Required no tools, at all.
Edit: The joke.. Now I get it, haha. 😂

From my experience in QA testing McAfee did a better job of detecting and removing viruses back in 1990’s
Maybe thats why Intel purchased the company.
But they all work pretty good today because they share a virus definition database.

IBM - “Lets Create”.

The PC Motherboard is “Obsolete”
The PCIe slots are to weak to support these Massive Heavy Graphics cards.

Bios is Too difficult to understand.
I remember the IBM PS/1 computer. It was simple with an easy to understand bios.
Also the IBM Aptiva.
That is what set IBM apart from all the other computer manufactures was an EASY to work with bios and menu.
Also the backup and recovery menus and batch files.
IBM Provided great tools for administration of the PS/1 computers.
