I received a package the other day.. already posted in the bought retro hardware thread when I purchased it.

The attachment card.jpg is no longer available
The attachment CD_Cases.jpg is no longer available
The attachment CDs.jpg is no longer available
The attachment W95.jpg is no longer available

As you can see, the Restore and Backup CDs have Nexgen Diagnostics on them.

I know I can just use the Backup CD for the software, but I would like to find a boot floppy that would allow me to use the Restore CD.

The files on the Restore CD look to be compressed and have the extensions of all the filenames changed so I think I would need a copy of some special boot disk to use it.

I have searched quite a bit and can't even find mention of an AT&T branded Nexgen computer.

Any help would be appreciated.

As luck would have it.. I found another copy of the recovery software that has the guide and the boot floppy. Ordered it.

Once I receive it, I will see if I can get a system going with it.

I'll also make images of everything and upload them to archive.org and maybe vogonsdrivers.

Got the CD with disk about a week ago now.
Since I don't have an Nx586 setup, I am going
To try to make a system with similar performance.

Looks like a Pentium 75 would be just a bit faster
So that is probably what I will go with.

I'll post a build log in another thread and put the link
here.
