The game is protected with Safedisc v2, that protection is not compatible with newer systems (mostly Windows 10).

Safedisc 2/3/4 and Starforce protected games are no go on Windows 10, SecuROM games works fine.

Well, I remember Rayman 2 running fine (although I don't know for sure).
For Rayman 1 I'd just use Dosbox. Unfortunately, UniPCemu isn't fast enough for that yet(mainly due to it's extreme emulated MMU throughput). I try to make it faster, but that's a difficult problem to fix without losing accuracy (besides finding the remaining bugs).

There are No-CD patched executables for Rayman 3 with Safedisc removed. They work just fine on Windows 10.

StarForce 5 works on Windows 10. Between 4 and 5 it's a maybe, and below that it's a no-no.

yeah, but most international games are SF 1/2/3 protected. SF 4/5 is probably used in russian version of games (so only Russia is concerned).

That is a good point. Indeed my games that have SF5 are all Russian releases, as far as I recall.

Although all textures seem wrong somehow? Like someone mixed all colors together, with most of the textures missing (even the background, which is entirely black)!
Edit: OK. Disabling the Hardware Vertex Processing seems to fix most of it. Only the cutscenes don't work at all?

Cutscenes work on Win10 for me. Did you try reconfiguring all settings in R3_Setup_DX8? (not that there are so many of them...)

All settings are currently enabled, except Hardware Vertex Processing, which messes up the gameplay itself to become weird (all kinds of texture glitches). I'm running it on a NVidia GeForce GTX 750 Ti btw. Although I don't know if that has much to do with it (also latest Windows 10 updates, no optional stuff installed (and latest NVidia drivers ofc)).

I tested on my 8700K/1070Ti desktop running Win10 2004. Where did you find the Hardware Vertex Processing setting? I don't remember it being there.

Oh, you must mean the "Better Rayman 3"? I never tried that. The stock Rayman 3 works well for me. In fact I recall almost no issues with it on any PC starting from Pentium 4 all the way to a gen-8 Core, and any OS between Windows Me and Windows 10; it is a remarkably robust game. Maybe "Better Rayman 3" is somewhat more finicky?
