Hi,

I'm currently setting up a 486 system with a voodoo 2 card.
Now that I installed the card in the system as well as successfully installed the driver in windows 95, whenever windows boots up or I try to run a program that uses glide mode, an error message pops up telling "no PCI bus found" and the program terminates.
The card shows up as working in device manager though.

Does anyone know this phenomenon and how to solve it?

It is a Skywell Magic 3D II / Trust Magic 3D II with 12 megs

Cheers audiocrush

I had one showing up as working in device manager but it didn't work. But I didn't have this error message.

After inspection is was two missing capacitors I my case.

What I mean is that they don't always show up as faulty.

Hi,

I found the problem now.
I had to use an older version of the driver and that did the trick.

And for the not showing up part, I just had to manually add the device using the add new hardware menu in control panel, select a new media device and manually select the old driver.
Also make sure to clean all the dll files in windows\system directory beforehand
