No, I did it on my PC only.

But now I tried to configure sound using DOSBOX only, as you said, but when I type config.exe to set up the sound, the command doesn't proceed. I mean, it seems like it just stuck there, nothing happens when I press enter to execute the command 🙁

Did I do smth wrong? It seemed pretty straight forward this time.

Do you have the game, because it may actually be helpfull if someone tried to run it?

Ok, here's what it says:

"Configure sound cards"

1. Sample card in use. No card
2. FM card in use No card
3. Change sample defaults
4. Change FM defaults
5. Test sample effects
6. Test FM effects
7. Auto set cards
8. Quit

What do you mean? This is what I get when I click on config file which is located here on my PC- C:\FIFA\CONFIG.EXE

There is other window in that folder, called FIFA.EXE which when I click on, blinks and dissapears...

Not config.EXE, but FIFA.CFG.
Anyways if you don't like that: use config.exe in windows, select
SoundBlaster 16 in the upper 2 fields, then go to SFX defaults,
IOAddress 220
IRQ 7
DMA Channel 1
DMA IRQ (leave that, should be -1)

Same for Music defaults, then exit that configurator and run fifa.exe
from dosbox.

There's no FIFA.cfg file There is only fifa.exe

Ok, I am having hard time setting IRQ to 7 it is set to 5, and when I click enter "_" sign shows up, but it appears before number 5, like "_5" and it only allows me to enter number in front of 5. How do I change 5 to 7? What buttons should I click?

Yes that's a bit ugly, but just (after you hit enter) type the 7 and hit
enter again, it should "get" what you mean.

Then tried to run it from dosbox, and new window appears that says:
"No CDROM Drive detected

C:\>_ " Again they want me to type something there. What's next?

Dunno, try mounting the fifa cdrom with something like
"mount d d:\ -t cdrom"

it says: "directory d:\ -t doesn't exist"

??

I have to take a 2 hour break. Please leave me your response and I'll get back to this game this evening. I hope we'll figure smth out and make it run on my PC 😀

Well mount the cdrom correctly.
If the cd is in drive k: then type something like
mount d k:\ -t cdrom

You are right: the driver for this CD is D and not C, as I thought before. But when I tried to type
mount D: D:\FIFA

the result was the same.

The same result came from typing the command you asked for: mount d k:\ -t cdrom

It just said that "this directory doesn't exist"

What do I do? Are there any other things that I can try? They are still asking me to pick the driver. They say "cd driver not detected"

We have set everything up: dosbox,sound, etc. Now we just need to do the last step and I should be able to run the game.

What's the drive letter of your cdrom?

Type mount -cd at the Z:\> DOSBox prompt to see a list of available CD drives.

it is "CD driver D"
