P5a 1.04
3 tyan s1564d motherboards
Amd k6-3+ 550
Cyrix 400gp
Gigabyte Iram

I probably have more stuff but it doesn’t come to mind, I have like 100 different socket 5/7 cpus. Oddly that’s not even 1/3 of how many there are 🤣

Just wondering, this is hardware, but it's a bit PC adjacent. Original 1st generation Creative Nomads..

How rare are they? Can't find any eBay listings.

Have one with parallel port cradle, was working last time I had it out.

I would say that these days, the most rare I own. Is the ATX64 board that I soldered/build from scratch. Not many in the world.

The big Momma of the ST series...

You'd think of these as being equivalent* all round to the Amiga 1200, but while that sold into the millions the Falcon only got into 10s of thousands I think.

Reason being that Atari discontinued it and because it was kind of too late to the game. At that time, people began to migrate heavy towards IBM and clones.

.. probably my Alaris / NexGen Nx586-90 desktop, I've seen the Nexgen mainboards and processors in the wild, but this is the first complete example of a desktop PC in a case that was manufactured by Alaris I've come across. In addition to the Alaris VLB mainboard it came with a matching Alaris"Skyeagle" VLB video card.

An Appian Rendition II/XE, I've found very little resources for it online so I figure it must be at least a little rare right? Has the Renaissance RVGA daughter board and memory upgrade too

Just noticed I have a super rare USB floppy drive, it's one of only 10 with serial numbers between 45800 and 45810 😉

Just kidding, it's more making fun of the car guys when it starts with, it's one of only 1832 in Red... and it gets down to It's one of 3 in red with the taupe upholstery, 357 engine, 3.84 positrack rear end, factory 8 track AND a passenger rear cigar lighter.

Your FX-51 made me wonder if my FX-60 might be considered rare. There’s nothing on ebay right now so maybe it is 🤔

Now that the opportunity occurs to think about it, I guess I would have suspected that some commercial flavors of UNIX came on official distribution tapes, but I never actually heard of mass market application software getting an official digital tape copy. I wonder if say a university ordered 200 copies, whether they would have got 200 tapes or just 200 licenses and just that one install package to the admin?
