Hi! I remember there used to be a gameport/program test program on the diskette of the Gravis gamepad and a game I used to play, digger.

Good luck! 😀

PS: On some systems, the game port was speed sensitive.
Some game ports, like that of the PAS16, were speed-compensated.
Very old game ports had a trim pot to compensate for the PC speed.
Maybe disabling caches in Setup Utility helps.

Thanks again for the additional replies, I’m now pretty sure something has gone wrong with something in the card.
I installed it in my PIII system (which I forgot had a single ISA slot) and again the card exhibits the same behaviour regardless of other cards in or out of the system.

In a last ditch effort I temporarily bodge wired all the ground pins to a known good ground but no dice 🙁

I guess I’ll try to sell the card and just make it clear that the joystick port is fubar.

Let’s hope i have a bit more luck with the Aztec card I’ve just ordered!

Thanks again everyone!
