Hi Fellow Hoarders,

So i was watching this laptop for a year on ebay and decided to make an offer [cheap/low] and the seller accepted [now i know why]. After i received it looked pretty clean except for sticky keys on the keyboard [coffee], so after turning it on for 1-2 min the started and making serious noise so turned it off and disassembled to see that the issue was.

Looking at the fans they were clogged so removed them and clean them, spinning the cpu fan made the exact sound [i think plastic sleve/bearing wear] so decide to look on ebay but could only find the gpu but no cpu. So i'm wondering if other Qosmio model used the same fan?

My shopping list: 1- inverter, 2- cmos battery, 3- keyboard, 4- fans [note to self stop buying laptop]
