Hello,
I need to the manual for cable connections and specs for this old Sound Blaster with live drive.
I think the card is an SB100

I am not sure if this is the right card for this “live drive”.
It might use a different card ?

That card should work with the Live Drive.
The Live Drive should have two 40pin connectors, one to J1 sound card and one J2 to an optional Digital I/O backpanel part.
Is your Live Drive a CT-4860 ???

added this topic may help or not 😀 Creative Labs Sound Blaster Live! 5.1 40-Pin Header
The manual for SB Live does not give much info but the manual for the Live Drive does give a bit (am sure you already found this:):
the below picture. Would assume the cabling is straight forward so take any 40 pin IDE and cut the second end off connector off...
And make sure to match pin 1 to pin 1 (Creative put a triangle where Pin 1 is)

Hate posting a reply and then have to edit it because it made no sense 😁 First computer was an IBM 3270 workstation with CGA monitor. Stuff: https://archive.org/details/@horun

Yes, I am using a SB0100 model sound card ( PCI, PNP, Live 5.1 ) and the “Live Drive” ( CT4860 ).

I used the Original sound blaster installation disk and the sound card worked fine.
But when I hook up the Live Drive the computer hangs on boot up os Win98se.

Do I need to update the drivers ?
If so what SB divers should I use ?
