Hi I had a question about monitors that I was wondering if anyone could answer. I recently bought a crt monitor from ebay that I am waiting to shipped to me. It is one of those monitors that has the vga cable hard wired into it. I have an old windows 2000 pc that is nice for some retro stuff, that it can plug into through vga. It would be really nice to be able to connect it to my 2060 through hdmi and use it for running retro consoles like snes and ps1 and also for watching some old vhs rips I have saved on my hd. Can I just buy one of those vga female 2 hdmi male adaptors they sell at walmart or do I need a special kit of hardware to connect to my modern hdmi devices. Sorry if this is a dumb question but I am new to retro peripherals and I dont want to waste my money on converters that just wont work anyway. Thank you for reading this.
