for context you should maybe play "No Remorse" first, the silencers are elite super soldiers fighting for the bad corpos, a few of them got a conscience when they were told to kill some civilians but they got caught and all but one (that's you) of that group got killed, then the resistance gets into contact with you and you start fighting for the good side against the evil corpos.

...no spoilers here that's pretty much the intro/start of the game.

The Crusader game engine is based on the engine used in Ultima VIII : Pagan.
So, there's some decent evil already included 😀

Play it long enough and you kinda get used to it... 😁

OP probably is playing a rip (and has a history of admitting this). This matters because all that plot in the FMVs will be left out, turning the perception of the game to a "WOW! COOL BOBA FETT POSTAL!" game.

🤣, that explains a lot... the FMVs are really what make the Crusader games great imho ^^
