I followed the guide (http://buildxp.deathmask.net/), modify a bit of the VDMSound shortcuts (Duke 3D.exe changed to RR.exe), the game runs fine but with crappy sound.
Any idea?
Use DosBox or play the game in Real Dos.
You can also try NTVDM's emulated SB but you can except more crappy sound.
I managed to get it run with the sound smoothly by going into cmd, type :
cd c:\[game directory]
c:\[game directory]\nolfb.com
Then
C:\[game directory]\rr.exe <- the game's exe.
Now I have 2 questions:
1. How do I make a batch file with those command?
2. Sometimes the control is 1/4 sec slow (USB mouse and wired keyboard) to respond. Any idea?
Ad 1: Start Notepad, and create a file called StartRR.BAT
