The quickest, easiest, and cheapest way to get a large-sized HQ bank for the Dream 5000-series is to simply take the 128MB CleanWave GM2 bank and combine it with the 46MB Dream Piano 5000 bank and the (unknown size) Dream Accoustic Drums bank, to get a free HQ GM2 bank using Dream's best samples, which are freely available and intended to be used with their products. Then you pair that combo bank with the highest-quality and most-comprehensive Roland licensed GS bank that DREAM has in their offerings and you've got yourself a recipe for an HQ Dreamblaster product that checks the boxes for gaming and music. You can still incorporate plenty of storage to have enough room for the Buran bank or whatever else someone comes up with.

Heh, I will not comment on dream licensing conditions details,
but i can tell you these banks are not free and even if you pay the license, will not get the sources.
As such i dont think that's a possible way to go.

A multi soundbank 'slot' system for X8/X16 was in development, i think it makes sense to finish that,
so that the best available banks can be combined..

Yeah, I mistakenly thought that the latest piano and drum banks were freely available like the previous versions had been, but they aren't and you are forbidden to modify or access them, so that's not on the table. My bad.

Hi,
V3 soundbank for X5/X8/X16 was not feasible at this moment.
I returned the V3 module.
New plan is implementing multi slot support for X8/X16/X5.

Since Mr. Dreamblaster didn't post it when the hardware was being discussed, here's the official audio demos for the V3 Sonority XXL. You'll notice that the first one is pretty awful and that is (probably) because it seems to be an ordinary mediocre Jurassic Park MIDI file that was thrown in the mix, while the rest of the demos are superb and made specifically for the synth. This is the same hardware that will be going into the Dreamblaster X16 MIDI module, so these audio demos - not including the first - will give you an idea of the quality it can reach with a customized and optimized sample bank.

Jurassic Park does indeed sound anything but impressive. There's an XG version of that piece that sounds incredible even on a low tier XG module like a MU10.
