I downloaded the file and extracted the English manual for you.
If this solves your issue please give us a quick update. If this is not the file you are looking for please let us know what exactly you need. 😀

Oh and could you take a good picture of your board and post it here so it can be added to ultimateretro.net?
That would be awesome! 😁

My thanks. Everything indicates that this manual is right.
Here my photo ...
I also add my play with jumpers.
There is undocumented features.
Unfortunately my P 233 MMX@266 is stable if it's temperature below 20°C.

Oh, so it's a 430VX board, yet ATX already. That was pretty advanced back in 1996/7.
My very first own PC was a 430VX with p133, but baby AT.
Really neat board, pretty impressive heatsink on the voltage regulators.

Hope you're well or even better, well and not where your profile says you are. Слава Україні!

I like jumpers.

You're right. I am where my profile indicates. But these little things help to forget about the bad things that happen in my country.
I wish to patch BIOS to get support of more than 8.5Gb HDD.
Слава Україні.

I have a similar motherboard and I found several BIOS versions for it on this site.

Looks like it may have a BIOS for your SY-5VM too. Not sure if it's the latest one, but it might be worth a look.

PC#1: Pentium MMX 166 / Soyo SY-5BT / S3 Trio64V+ / Voodoo1 / YMF719 / AWE64 Gold / SC-155
PC#2: AthlonXP 2100+ / ECS K7VTA3 / Voodoo3 / Audigy2 / Vortex2
PC#3: Athlon64 3400+ / Asus K8V-MX / 5900XT / Audigy2
PC#4: i5-3570K / MSI Z77A-G43 / GTX 970 / X-Fi

Great, especially the undocumented jumper settings! 😃👌 Thanks!
I'll quote member evasive so he gets notified and can add your contributions to ultimateretro.

All the best to you!

My thanks.
I will try to modify it with "biospatcher" soon.

Thanks for all.
By the way , i tried to flash BIOSes you leave here
By some reason my HDD Samsung for 40gigs do not wish to detects at all.
So i have to back to my old BIOS. At last it detect it like 8.5Gb.
P.S. I.m not sure how to get 128mb of ram at this board. Looks like it has to be pair of 2 sided SDRaM 66/100 MHz

That HDD:
- get manual parameters, look them up or let another machine detect it
- make sure that it's set to LBA
- maybe the machine does not take drives above 32 GB. Many 40 GB models can manually be jumpered to appear as 32.

I like jumpers.

Ok... thanks for idea. I jumpered HDD to 32 Gb max and chech does it work right on other PC.
After i flashed latest BIOS (VM-1001 since 10/01/97) and it's OK. Now board detects HDD like 35 Gb.

P.S. By the way i get a strange result in Everest v5.50 in Cache & Memory Benchmark .
There i get 691 Mb/s for write in memory. so strange couse it's Pentium 3 level at FSB 100 MHz.
