I have artwork for an old project. Being I don't have the actual printed representations, rather magazine pdf reproductions, the quality of the resulting printed masks could be better, I'm sure. So what I figured I have to do is import the images into some kind of program, recreate traces where needed, replace pads with cleaner versions, etc. Any suggestions as to what I could use?

The boards are in the April and May 1987 Radio Electronics.

Probably not the most convenient program for n00bs, but autocad canattach / import pdf. With the raster design option you can even import lines from JPEG images.

Stuck at 10MHz...
