I moved your post here because the game in question is Illusion's. The problem is probably the same as with Artifical Academy 2, see the thread:

Artificial Academy 2 with dgVoodoo2 Special build

Setting option DirectXExt\MaxVSConstRegisters to 1024 should solve the problem.
Don't use the outdated 'special build' (I might have already removed it from my site anyway). Latest version of dgVoodoo should just work fine.

Did you manage to solve the School Mate 2 problem?
The game looks terrible.

I've looked for a repack but it doesn't exist...a forgotten game.

As you mentioned before, all older games from this company have problems.
However, AA2 already has a solution, the same goes for other titles. I can't find anything about School Mate 2.

Your settings are a mess to begin with, but leaving that aside...
You need to set "Max VS const registers" to 1024.

To do that, right click over any part of the dgV Control Panel, then on the sub-menu, click "Show all sections of the configuration".
Once the extra tabs show up, go to the one named "DirectXExt" and set "Max VS const registers" to 1024 there.

mm... I'm really new to using this engine, and there isn't much information about it. I'm getting familiar with all this.
Is it possible for us to talk on discord? It's much better. I would appreciate.

Hi all,

Firstly, thank you Dege for making dgVoodoo, I have been using it on so many old games that I have already lost count!

I unfortunately ran into an issue with one of these older Illusion NSFW games. I had no issue with others, but on BIKO 3, I encountered a strange crash.
After the game loads and everything is going smoothly with dgvoodoo in the menus, after starting the game, the clicking through the first few lines of text the game suddenly crashes.

I checked without dgvoodoo and while the game runs terribly, with 3-5 FPS, the crash does not occur.
I tried to check all settings to see if maybe there is an option in dgvoodoo that could fix the issue but i did not succeed.

Any chance for checking this title?

All three BIKO titles work fine with dgVoodoo2 for me, so dunno what your exact issue is, but it might reside in your game files seeing how it crashes when it tries to load text/sounds...

EDIT: forgot to say that they work fine at least with both my 1660Ti and 4060Ti (dgVoodoo 2.86.2), dunno about other GPUs.
