Hello!

About a day ago, I have acquired a certain dual Slot 1 board, MS6120, with very low expectations of it actually working.

Board is *booting*, CPU and memory detected just fine, but it wasn't stored properly.

Public urinals are probably cleaner than the board on arrival.

Information is surprisingly sparse, aside from one eBay listing.

Good half dozen of SMD are missing, multiple capacitors need to be replaced, one of them hissed at me while examining the board, I/O chip leg is not making contact, or so I think, it being deformed.

Big pictures below, sorry about that.

looks like this one https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/MS6120/support and targeted towards windows 2000 by the bios list available but then everything 2000 can run xp easily.
says it runs win98 NT, and 2000 a classic I'd love one too. Great photography BTW 😀

Yes, it's this one.

But the thing is, neither I or Tiido really know, what kind of SMDs are these, so it would take a collective effort (someone with this board).

Hopefully, the pictures are OK, my camera is physically cracked.

They are great and I looked closely and it reminded me of all these "tested working" ebay purchases that looked working until put to work! In any case I'd probably buy off you instead.

Picture 1: the closest C part next to C254, bit difficult to identify, and R part just below it.
Picture 3: R344, R345, R336, C393 are missing.

Really wish that didn't happen, but it was beyond my control.
