Hi and apologies for necro posting in this thread but I too just acquired a NEC Ready 9851 and was looking for information on it.

After reading thru this, we have an amusing coincidence- I am also located in Bucks County, PA. In fact I briefly wondered if maybe you sold it, but I see the ID/Serial number is different:
