Hello fellow vogonians.
Today I received this video card and due to bad packing has been damaged during the transport.
One of the smd caps 470uf 6v has come off and a small filter cap was around the box.
I'm pretty sure I will have to change the bigger one but I doubt I will be able to find the right place for the smallest one.
Is there anyone with such card that is willing to take high res picture so I can try to check where it is missing?

Hello,

If you post some clear high res pictures of your card we might be able to tell where the cap goes.

Edit: there is another damaged cap near to the sticker.

Great catch, you are right this cap is loose.
That's the best I could do with my phone:

Edit the loose filtering caps has come off, it's the very same dimension of the other one.

There are some other weird looking things, but can't really tell much from those photos. Do you have a flatbed scanner?

If you plan to solder back the loose caps, measure them first for shorts.

I haven't the skill to solder back those caps.

I tried to use the flatbed but I never got good results from it, here are the pictures of the back of the card (I do wonder if my scanners sux or what):
