I see there's a MR BIOS image available for PT-2006. Anyone use this? Do you recommend flashing to MR over the stock BIOS?

I mostly used MR BIOS on older boards (Socket 5), so I can't comment on how well it works for later boards, but I'm a big fan.
I think the biggest advantage is that it's much faster than most stock BIOSes — you can even configure it to skip all messages and tables entirely. Basically, by the time your videocard syncs to the monitor, you'll be seeing Windows logo already, shaving off 15-20 seconds off boot time. It will override this if any change to hardware configuration has been made, like a new RAM stick, HDD or an expansion card.

Thank you for your reply. I think I need to try this.
