I am redoing my 3dfx machine and I want this now.
Does it exist?
I can't overclock with powerstrip on new board because I can't tell it to disable onboard graphics and it messes up powerstrip somehow.
anyone please help?

Did you check the readme? There's a little "i" jpeg to the right at end of the row for most of the tools. Click it, and you'll find V.Control works in 95 through XP.

It seems you really want to use the 3dfx Tools. Have you enabled "Compatibility" functionality in Windows 2000? If nothing else, it is at least one more troubleshooting technique to try.

Follow this article and then try to run a shortcut to the 3dfx Tools (just like you would in XP).

Or maybe you can try these drivers:

Sorry, I don't know why I was thinking Windows 2000.

So, you did try to install the V.Control utility? This is V.Control from "KoolSmoky."
http://www.3dfxzone.it/koolsmoky/vctrl.html

Also, he has his own 3dfx driver.

I also wonder if you kept Windows XP to Service Pack 1 with DirectX 8, might you have better luck if nothing above works?

Great news!

If you do a search around here, you may find which WickedGL is the fastest. I've never installed/used it.

yeah i think i'll just hav to go through them all, if it's anything like the miniGL files, the older ones were better for older CPU and the later better for newer CPU.
