A year and a half ago I acquired a Tandy 286 Express accelerator, but the card was damaged and I had a long drawn affair to get my money back. That experience is covered in this post:

Recreating the Tandy 1000 SX I had over 30 years ago

I got another crack at one of these for about 1/3 the priced I paid for the last one. Every pin was bent on the 8088 ribbon cable and I was hopeful I could straighten them all out with breaking any. Well with a lot of patience working with a magnifying glass and a pair of tweezers I got all the pins back in good alignment. The card ended up being in good working order. I put it in my Tandy 1000A (25-1002) computer as I already had my Tandy 1000SX all fixed up the way I wanted it. I wanted to keep this computer as original as possible. It has a Tandy Memory Plus card (25-1011) with DMA, 512K and a serial port add-on, Blue Lava Systems XT-IDE card and Cybernetic Systems Tandy SmartWatch+ RTC with replaceable coin cell battery. So far everything is working well running MS-DOS 6.22.

I just thought I would include some benchmarks between running on the onboard 8088 and the 286 Express Accelerator:
