Hi,

Need some assistance with Day of the Tentacle. It plays pretty well but it will occasionally lock up after a sentence during dialog. I then have to reload from a previous game. It appears to be getting progressively worse the further I get into the game. Its kinda strange since its been working great so far.

I also dont hear any music. Did this game have music cuase I cant remember. Just seems like it should.

Im running WinXPpro with Radeon 9700pro video and Sound Blaster Audigy.

Game has music, but it alsop has a timing bug in its AdLib music code.

For the dialogue just press "." when it locks up (the '.' or '>' key).

For music: reconfigure the game to use General MIDI instead of AdLib for music (if it won't let you then get the "Roland update" for DOTT from Lucas' site).

I wouldn't call ScummVM the Alternative anymore. I'd say it should be the first place to go (especially with 2xSaI 😀)
