Which could be anything, especially since there is no game ID.

Which, despite the lack of information, means you may already be sunk. That's your OS saying "I will not run this"...by the way, it would help for us to actually know on what OS you are trying to run this "thing". It's critically important and not mentioned in your post.

Not a good description, it failed to run the game. It's not like the OS could run it, but is simply refusing to run it for the purpose of upsetting you.

If the game won't run at all, it's not likely that VDMSound is going to fix the problem. Of course, it's hard to tell one way or another, because all I can do is guess without needed information.
