I always wanted to go through the forum to find the best combos, cpu+ram+hd size+ISA cards and motherboards +FPU.
For 486 I can't say AMD P75 or a Pentium overdrive.

The rest I don't know.

If you know the best combo post!

For me a lot of it is personal choice not best specs so really cannot contribute much other than XT with small scsi HD beats any MFM/RLL if you choose to stick with a real hard drive 😀
