My Amptron 930 LMR unofficially supports 533 MHz FSB CPUs, but there's one small issue - with a 400 FSB CPU, the BIOS has a setting that allows you to run the memory at 166 MHz, but the fastest you can set the memory with a 133 FSB CPU is 133; this significantly narrows the performance advantage of the 533 bus CPU.
In the Chipset Setup page of AMIBCP, I can't change the CPU/DRAM speed settings; I tried setting the bottom DRAM speed to 166, saving and flashing that, but it didn't change the available settings and the RAM speed is still 133 MHz. Any suggestions?
