Anyone notice GPUs falling in price recently? With the coming 4-series and the mining crash GPU prices may bottom out in the coming months. I am already seeing 3080s on fleabay going for crazy cheap prices.
"Cryptocurrency" is such a massive lie and scam, I don't understand how ANY OF THAT can be used to "pay for" anything...
I'd need a Thunderbolt dock to use a discrete GPU with my NUC but I've thought of building a entirely separate system to serve as a rendering and computer vision rig. Maybe if these prices actually stop being outrageous that might become a reality for me before I die.

$500 isn’t crazy cheap for a clapped out 3080 from a mining rig but it is starting to become more realistic.
