Someone knows if there's some fix for the shakyness that happens when you turn the corners in this game? i'm talking about playing the game in software mode, otherwise the cockpit view is not available

Chose the exe from NFSII and set the processor affinity mask to only 0 (zero) and click on run

Open notepad, and write the following:
C:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe /c start /affinity 1 nfsen.exe
and save the file with .bat extension.
(PS: I don't have the game on hand currently, you have to edit nfsen.exe to the corresponding executable you are launching, I don't remember if it's 2 's' in the name.)

i did it but the problem is still there
I think you should use a frame limiter, like limit to 30FPS. Can your PC use dgVoodoo2? What is your GPU and OS?

I can confirm this is happening to me on Ryzen 5600 with RX 6600 XT, and on Q9550 with HD7850, but not on T4200 with intel graphics.
Windows 10 on all three.

I can confirm this is happening to me on Ryzen 5600 with RX 6600 XT, and on Q9550 with HD7850, but not on T4200 with intel graphics.

Update-2: I installed the game on PCem Windows 98 with a Pentium 2 CPU, and guess what, the problem remains there. Now I am not sure if it's again related to Ryzen 5 1600 speed as it shouldn't affect it, but I will have to wait 2 days before testing on a 3rd generation Intel Pentium

is a mistery, also there's no threads in google or adressing this problem in the pc gaming wiki
So not Ryzen-specific (even Core 2 Quad is affected), happens on both AMD and nVidia graphics (but in software mode it shouldn't really matter), not Windows version specific (at least Win7, 10, 11), using a VM doesn't help, and somehow the problem emerged only recently (no existing info, and I remember playing this game a few months ago with no issues).
Indeed a mystery. I hope it'll be solved or at least explained soon..
Also, Celeron J1900 with its integrated graphics - affected.
Or maybe it's not hardware, but rather some recent patch we're all using that's causing this.
