Hi.
I have a problem with my old IBM 486 with a 6381 motherboard with on board Tseng ET4000 W32 (VLB). The colors in some games and many scenes in demos like Second Reality are messed up.

Things I have tried that changed nothing:
Different CPUs (486 DX2 66, Pentium 83 OD and AM5x86 133)
Different RAM
Tlivesa
UNIVE with all kids of different settings
Video BIOS shadowing on/off
Removing the upper 512 KB of video ram

I'm sure it didn't happen before but it's been months since I tried the games and demos that have the problem now.

The graphics are fine in most software and Windows 3.11. Monkey Island 1 and 2, Doom1 and 2, Quake and more don't have any issues. I tried all the available resolutions in Quake and they don't show the problem in any mode.

Does anyone have an idea what it might be? Seems to be tied to one certain video mode.

I tried turning off L1 cache now and that fixed the graphics in Turrican 2, but it's too slow without L1 cache.

There's no L2 cache in the machine. I have ordered some for it so maybe that changes things.
