Grabbed a bulk lot of CPUs that popped up, Originally wanted it for the AMD 5x86 CPUs but noticed there is a Blue Lightning in there along with a SX25 Overdrive.

I have been able to identify all of them aside from the two smallest

Intel 08486SX-25
Intel Pentium 120
Intel 486SX-25 Overdrive
Intel 08486DX-33
Blue Lightning DX2-66
2x AMD 5x86-P75 AMD-X5-133ADW

The smallest Im going to assume is possibly a 286 with the slightly larger one being a 386 of some kind, wont know till they get here.

I can now Identify the two smaller CPUs
TI 486 DLC -25
Intel 387 -16

Both of which are for a 386 board and likely were paired together with the 486 underclocked, there was also a socket 3/4 interposer in there too.

Welp, the MSI/Medion Ti4200 proves to be a success!

Now... just gotta sort out my modded Mendocino slotkets, enough to get them to run Coppermines in a stable manner (and I am very sure it boils down to some signals that must be probably rerouted) on my BE6, then I'm gonna check out how well would a mid-high end CuMine chip + GF4 Ti4200 + 440BX would fare. In any form, it would be a HUGE step up from the MX440 it's currently running.

Test machine is a bare Skt423 P4 Willy 1.5GHz, 1x512MB Micron PC133 RAM, a generic "450W" (200 on a good day) SFX PSU, MSI 845 Pro Rev1 (MS-6529) mobo.

Got myself a nice piece of computing history for a very decent price (well below the 3 digits in euros).
It even has the 64KB ram expansion. Not sure what I'll do with it but I just HAD to have it.

The price was amazing, but as I said it was packed very poorly and suffered a bit from it. In fact, the cooling shroud got a few cracks from shipping, too.
They're only barely noticeable, though.

And I'm happy to report that the card works perfectly fine in my XP rig after soldering the capacitor back onto the board.

I guess I'll soon build a DDR3 Win98 PC with it. 😀

In fact, my X850 XT non PE went with a missing capacitor too. But neither me nor the last owner noticed it and the card worked perfectly.
I fixed it anyway, just in case it would damage the board over the time. It was a big cap, on the top of the card, near the bracket.

It's a shame i don't actually use this card regularly. The fact that i don't use a lot of my card is something that makes me consider stopping buying more things. I don't consider myself a very big collector, but i do need to take pictures of everything just to not forgot about things i already have. And that would be quite an interesting question for a topic on Vogons. "What is a small collection ? what is a big collection ?".

My best guess is RAM-sinks were a thing only for the BGA packaged RAM variants of GF4, like the Ti4400-4800 range. The Ti4200 I have seems to use standard DDR RAM.

There has been quite a few game releases for the PET over the past few years. If you get some type of virtual floppy device for it, it might be worth checking out.

A few I've run across:

Pretty sure you will have to switch to 40 column mode to run those games on the 8032.

Edit: Not super familiar with the PET, but it seems it’s a bit more complicated to get 40 column games running on that model.

So I mayyyybe just ordered a couple, haven't had a lot of luck over the last year or two ordering the last ones in stock of anything, they turn up not actually in stock. Anyhoo, we'll see if they get here, vendor had a WILD array of weird stuff marked right down. Also tried for a couple of 4GB DDR2 DIMMs, a couple of 500GB cheetah SATA drives, 32GB Msata SSD, then kinda normal pricing on a Startech CF adapter and a 4GB CF took it up to around apparent MRSP of two of them.

I was reading what google found me, and amazon reviews came up that suggested they don't like to have anything other than USB hotplugged (may also be a hardware securing issue) and ain't friendly with later windozezezes, which is all fine for me as I figure I'm using them in late p3 thru c2d era stuffs.

I was actually quite surprised to see the BIOS recognize the CPU model correctly since it was never even released and the only samples were supposedly given to people working at Intel. I've only been able to dig up a few mentions of this CPU.
Lot's of misinformation about it floating around unless there were different versions of it. Unlike the QX9770, it runs at 1333fsb instead of 1600fsb.

The BIOS (1.60) is too old. And it doesn't support 45nm s775 CPUs. I have the similar issue with Wolfdale Pentium E5x00 on Asrock 775i945gz. Moreover CPU-Z shows that the CPU works only at 1200MHz in Windows 7. What about yours? Have you tested it in Windows yet?
I asked the manufacture support to send me beta bios they have for sure but there's no answer yet.

Grabbed it into my collection though I don't have this model since that. I had to slightly modify the stock bios myself to add 45nm support. But yours would be definitely better.
