registered it everything seemed fine but now the ingame audio music doesn't work

it was working fine with Glidos and I had with VDMsound and the Tomb Raider Audio Pack installed JC texture packs etc

before I registered it

I've checked the cd audio / mp3 background sounds in the audio menu

can anyone help many thanks have I missed something at all

Check your computers audio settings. Probably wave volume has gotten set to zero.

Registration cannot affect the audio, so something else has changed coincidently. If it was working within the last hour then it is something that has changed in the last hour.

Hi

i've managed to sort I just used the tomb raider advanced installer to reinstall tomb raider it works now

I've been playing it works fine now except 1 question please

sometimes when I get to the end of the level the game just freezes when it displays the statistic at the end of the level

I've just made it to Francis Folly its more of an annoyance as it only sometimes does this and I have to reload a save

could you tell me glidos best settings and all tick boxes for optimal glidos

executables/display/textures etc

i'm using a xp sp2 build 1gb ram geforce 4 ti4200 sempron2400
JC textures audio mods etc

thanks

Glidos installs with optimal settings for most systems. And the freezing problem is not the sort of thing that will be fixed by changing settings.

The thing that might well sort it out is to use VDos32 to run the game rather than Windows' DOS environment. You just download VDos32.exe from http://www.vdos32.com, place it in C:\Program Files\Glidos and check Glidos's "Use VDos32" box.

Hi have done it and unlocked it

will try it out tomorrow

many thanks

looks real nice for an old game its fun to return to this world

I loved anniversary but am a little disappointed that they missed out on filling the levels to make a more complete game as to play an exact converson with that graphics engine would blow my mind

though hats off to JC for his texture packs they bring a lovely immersion to refresh this old game as does your Glidos

bye

Yeah, I'm loving aniversary too. It certainly doesn't replace TR1 though.

I think people go for JCs textures because they are the only complete set (and they are in any case wonderful), but I can strongly recommend trying the others when you come to replay again. They each have their own wonder.

Wall-run jumps suck big time though. Bloody controls, bloody camera!

Not sure why, but none of those have troubled me. Mind you, I'm only about half way through, so maybe those have yet to annoy me.

I agree about the wall jump/grapple and the camera etc

real frustration in the Atlantis climbing pyramid using this technique plus the adrenalin dodge I found hard to execute

it's still a great game

but a more complete conversion of Tomb Raider 1 inc fulls levels / Unfinished Business I think would satisfy the most die hard of fans and me
