hello,
i will play the game PolePosition

i mount the cdrom and a old directory

mount c d:\old
mount d h:\ -t cdrom -usecd

i go to h: and start install.exe, the install works

after the install i go to c:
cd pole
f1.bat - to start the game but than dosbox will be killed 🙁

DOS box does not function any longer it is looked for for a solution - its in a window box an than

the program is not implemented correctly auftrudn a problem. the program will become closed and it benarhcitigt, if a solution is available.

can everyone help me please...

Bzztt! Wrong. The -usecd option needs to be followed by a number - the number of your drive. You get the number by first using the command mount -cd. It will list your CD-drives and their DOSBox-number. Once you know the number (e.g. 2) you can use it as in mount D H:\ -t cdrom -usecd 2.

No matter what windows version that might be, you gotta love the dutch (i presume)/english mixture in the error message. 😀

Not Dutch. Seems more like German.

If it's supposed to be german, then this guy needs a whack on the head from his german _and_ his english teacher.

It's obviously German (with typos) run through some kind of automated translation, which will of course not recognize the misspelled words and let them stand as they are.

"auftrudn" is probably "aufgrund" (because of) and the other one is "benachrichtigt" (notified).
