Dear all,

Is there an alternative software driver for above program which allows me to mount ISO’s from the network?

That exactly what I need. The workaround via win95/daemon etc I am aware of.

Mounting isos with SHSUCDHD works flawless as long as you don’t try to mount them from network (Ms client based access to smb). This is not supported.

Indeed but that all looks (fast reading) like a hardware solution only.
I was looking for a software driver that just mounts isos also from network shares. Maybe there is even a hidden parameter for shsu or another program?

Hell.. Read through all but besides mtcp, shsu only fakecd I see there. I will try fake cd although I have to unpack all isos first. Let’s see if it will work.

Or better: DrFake the successor as it is supposed to work via nw share.

Tested.
Fakecd cannot work with network shares
FakeDr needs the real cdrom first to create an info file. I am not able to mount images in win95 w/o installing usb/ie4 which i don’t want

Also tried with subst but this won’t work with network shares neither
