Hi. I recently choose dosbox for emulate some old DOS applications inside Debian and Ubuntu. Instead dosemu or qemu + freeDOS dosbox have a lots features that oriented my decision.

Now, I have two problems.

1) Access to parallel port, but I'm work around.
2) Standard DOS date command.

How can I implement date command into dosbox?

A date command? Either put a DATE.COM program somewhere in a mounted drive, or implement DATE as a built-in command by changing the DOSBox source code.
