Thank for your replies. I was curious about the reception on this build, to see what it meant to other retro fellow enthusiasts. This was a dream build for me in mid 2004, when i had my A7N8X 2.0 Deluxe with Barton 2800+ and Asus 9600 XT 128MB.
Regarding this PSU, i have some wall and voltage readings in full load. The maximum load i saw on the wall was 198W. If i put 80% eficiency into acount, the full system consumption would be 158W under 1600x1200 gaming intensive load. And i guess 80% would be a good eficiency number for this PSU from 2008/2009. If i remove 20/25W for 3.3v and 5v rails, i would say the total 12V rail wattage being used, would be around 130/135W. The PSU has 2x 12v rails with 120+180W each. Even if i remove 30% on each rail , gives 84+ 126W each for a total of 210W. This figure is far from the 130/135W being used by the system on the 12v rails.
Regarding the voltages under load, they are 11.80v, 5v and 3.3v. I guess the 12v is not perfect, but within 1.7% margin. Both 5 and 3.3 are perfect. I inspected the interior of the PSU and it´s well built and very heavy which usually is a good thing on this 2008/2009 PSUs. I think it´s an FSP branded PSU.
