Hi,

I was wondering how to automate the updating of Win 3.11.
It appears that WSUS starts at Win XP, and there is an automated patcher for Win 98, I think, but is there a way to automate Win 3.11 updates?

Can Windows System Management Server 2.0 perform that function?

Regards,
Craig

I'm...not sure there were any updates, per se, to Windows 3.11. Do you mean automating installs of, say, WinG, Win32s, TCP/IP and the like?

Not the install, just the selected updates. Like the Tcp, Y2k, Comm etc and maybe apps.

For windows os below 2000 you'll need to manually apply patches except of course autopatcher for 98.

That's annoying.

Thanks for the response.
