Broken? How so? Did you upgrade an old DBGL version to the latest one? If so, make sure you're following the procedure as explained on the website; first upgrade to 0.92, and only after that, upgrade to 0.96.

If you need more help, please send me a PM with your DBGL data (the db and profiles folders) so I can analyze that, and try to fix it.

Thanks a lot, I'll send a PM asap!

Hi everybody,
When I search the Mobygames and Pouet.net database with Dbgl, I get the error
"Unespected error: java.security.AlgorythmParameterException: the trustAnchors parameter must be non-empty"
Metropolis Launcher MobyGames database works, but without image searching.

Linux Mageia 8
openjdk version "11.0.15" 2022-04-19 LTS
OpenJDK Runtime Environment 18.9 (build 11.0.15+10-LTS)
OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM 18.9 (build 11.0.15+10-LTS, mixed mode, sharing)

Thanks in advance!

I have a small suggestion for the DBGL search engine... I'm reviewing my games database and back in the day I marked many games with (Shareware) in the title, to reflect I wasn't sure they were full versions. However, when I make searches in MobyGames this results in many wrong results. So my suggestion is, when making web searches for games, to ignore the term "shareware" if its present in the game title.

I know I literally brought this on myself, but ...

I use the additional fields for such things.

No problem, taken care of of in this latest build. That, and a fix for the issue mentioned by frosty024.

All the latest files. To update, just grab the new jar.

Sorry to insist on the issue, but I think there's been some kind of regression regarding the use of regional characters in folder names. I'm reviewing old profiles and they seem to work at first... but once they're updated said characters are modified and no longer work.

Here's a list of my profiles using "Ñ", for instance.

And this is how the paths look after ther profile is updated:

They should be the same as in the profile name.

Strange issue, this. The mounts and program location are saved in the dosbox configuration file (profiles/8835.conf). It might help it you can create a file copy of a profile that is currently intact, update the profile (rendering it broken) and create a new file copy. This way, we can take a look at the changes in the .conf.

I already "fixed" the Ñ profiles, changing the conflicting letter in the pathnames to N. However there are other cases, like any profiles with pathnames using accented vowels. Here are the original and modified profiles for "Capitán Trueno".

"This application requires a Java Runtime Environment 11 (64-bit)"

I have the latest JRE (jre-8u351) both x86 and x64 but DBGL 0.96 always gives the above error. When I put 0.95 back everything works fine as it recognises the latest Java release as being 8-or-higher, but it seems like 0.96 doesn't recognise the latest Java release as being 11-or-higher.
