Why the screen is paused and stuck after the prince/main character is landed?

What are you using probably would inform people about your exact situation? If it's emulated or not, the used environment and configuration and app used to run the game, it's own configuration etc. Nobody can answer anything with such a bare amount of information.

Would make sense. It's probably waiting for the landing sound to be fully rendered, but it'll never render due to missing IRQ triggers to advance the audio to finish state (due to hardware never triggering them) or stuck 1 bits(floating bus) if polling hardware directly.
