Hi there.

I have been looking for a long time for those boards which allow to expand the ISA bus of a computer to a secondary case with more slots, just like the IBM 5161 except for 16 bits wide bus.

I have now those boards with their 2 meters cable from Kontron, so-called ECIK-2001, but i have no documentation or software whatsoever.

Any one here experienced with these boards?

My project is to expand the ISA bus of my Amiga 4000 in a secondary case but i might use it for another computer.

at first glance there doesn't seem to be any microcontroller on those cards requiring software for initialization so, I'm guessing those are pretty much plug in, attach cable & forget about it being there.

Right to repair is fundamental. You own it, you're allowed to fix it.

Thanks Horun, you are expert at diging out things, i couldn't find anything useful myself with Google.
Yes weedeewee, you are probably right as the above pdf don't seem to mention any software.

Now, i need to find a nice secondary case with a backplane.
